Hello world! I have recently been scouring the internet for a certain painting from a certain artist. I had met this artist named the Head Hunter at a festival in Florida one year. His work was amazing so naturally I asked how much. The price was a little outrageous for the original piece. I had to pass on the purchase but I snagged his card and left the fest. A week later I realized my girlfriend had washed my pants with the card still in the pocket. It was destroyed and all I had to remember the guy from is his name Head Hunter. I started searching the internet for the mysterious artist called Head Hunter and to my surprise there was a site called Skinnybuddha. I know its a really odd name but after checking out the site it makes sense. This site is loaded with unique underground style artwork! Not only was this site home to the Head Hunter but it was also home to about 10 other really incredible artists. They also have a clothing line and sell other independent clothing brands. I couldn’t believe I actually found this guy online! I also found a print of the painting I wanted to buy at a much more affordable price! Cheers to SkinnyBuddha for showing the local artists some love!

Staying in Thongsala in Koh Phangan
There are numerous Thai islands that can be visited by tourists. They are nearly all blessed with great beaches and a laid back atmosphere that makes you forget what day of the week it is. Most Thai islands do not have airports, and so the traveler first arrives at the main port by boat. It is usually the case that on arrival the tourist will rent some type of transport to take them to a beach destination. The principal port town is rarely regarded as a final destination.
The island of Koh Phangan is famous for its gorgeous beaches and for the world’s biggest outdoor full moon party. On arrival tourists invariably head off for either Haad Rin (the scene of the FMP) or one of the other idyllic beaches scattered along the coast. Me too until my last trip to the amazing Koh Phangan.
This year I opted to stay in the port town of Thongsala. It doesn’t have a beach but it does have a great range of facilities and amenities, it is also conveniently located near a number of great beaches. I got a room at Buakao Inn in Thongsala for just $20 a night. It was basic but clean. Downstairs was a great cafe with friendly staff and a good menu. I rented out a motorbike for my stay.
In Thongsala they have a couple of great markets where I could pick up really cheap fruit and get a plate of Thai food for just over $1. In the town there is also a Tesco supermarket with plenty of cheap drinks and snacks.
In the evening there is a few good bars to try. There is also live music some nights at A’s cafe and the Bangers and Mash. Despite being a town, rather than a beach with a few cafes etc. Thongsala is very quiet and peaceful. It is very different to the loud and raucous Haad Rin.
During the day I went exploring. I either rode to a temple or to a beach. I got to see lots of beautiful white sand beaches, many of which were virtually deserted. I loved the freedom the bike gave me.
In short, I felt that staying in Thongsala was actually better than being stranded on one beach. I’m going to stay in Thongsala again.

Benefits of Full Moon Parties
Over the last 15 years the Full Moon Party in Koh Phangan has grown from being a small beach party attended by just a few hundred travellers and hippies to being an international outdoor event that regularly sees over 20,000 people going crazy under the light of the full moon.
The Full Moon Party on Haad Rin Nok Beach is without doubt the largest monthly beach party in the world. It is also the largest party in Thailand and the largest moon party in the world. This is because it is easily the best moon party in the world.
Koh Phangan is a tropical island in the south of Thailand located in the Gulf of Thailand. It is an island famous for its gorgeous beaches, cheap prices and friendly local people. It is easy to get to Koh Phangan by airplane (via Koh Samui airport), train or bus.
There is plenty of full moon party accommodations available in Haad Rin Town as well as elsewhere on Koh Phangan, but it is essential to book well in advance.
One of the benefits of the Full Moon Party is that it is cheap. It is free if you stay in Haad Rin. If not you only have to pay $3 to enter the party. Food and drink at the party is also cheap.
Another benefit is that there are several types of music to enjoy. each bar on Haad Rin Nok plays its own brand of music. Styles include house, trance, R ‘n’ B, chart and drum and bass. There is a style to suit everyone.
The atmosphere at the party is like a carnival. Generally, everyone is very happy and friendly. It’s a great place to make new friends and to meet prospective partners.
Perhaps the greatest benefit of the full moon parties is that they never end. they go all night. People watch the sunrise over the ocean and then they make their way to the after parties. the two bets after parties are at Baan Sabaii in Bantai and the Backyard after party near Haad Rin Nai beach.
If you love to party, then you will love the Full Moon Parties in Koh Phangan.

Finding a Great Wine of the Month Club
Are you a wine fan?
Do you enjoy finding new and interesting bottles of wine before your snobby friends?
If so, what can you do when they shop at exactly the same wine stores and attend the same wine tastings as you do?
Joining a wine of the month club might be your best solution. A wine of the month club offers a range of price points, but also offers a sort of exclusivity, especially on the high end that many consumers will want. Many great wine clubs ship wines which your local wine stores cannot even access, to me as someone who really loves wine, finding those unknown wines is what is especially exciting.
